How Hot Desk has changed

Hot Desk Consultancy Services Limited is a 100% New Zealand-owned company established in 2012. We began by bringing hard-to-find ICT specialists to New Zealand for government and private-sector work.

That specialist sourcing capability still exists, but the centre of the business has moved. Today we develop two products, Parapet and Pūnaha, and provide consultancy in Integrated Risk Management, AI, security, legislation, compliance, business processes and complex technology change.

What connects the work

Building products keeps us close to the practical detail of implementation. Consulting exposes us to problems that do not fit neatly inside one product. Specialist sourcing helps when a programme needs experience that is difficult to find locally.

Together, those capabilities allow us to stay involved from the first difficult question through to delivery, without assuming that software is always the answer.

New Zealand presence

We work from dedicated offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Meetings are arranged in advance so the right people can be there and scheduled client work can continue without interruption.

Clear about what we have delivered

We name customer organisations only when we have permission. When a client needs to remain private, we describe the sector and the work without inventing results. We take the same straightforward approach to product maturity, performance and delivery claims.
